Which headphones are the best?

Headphones are a good solution for everyday situations of all kinds: they help you not to disturb the neighbors, accompany you when you go for a run, offer you full immersion when watching a movie or make your commute to work more bearable.

But all this is only possible when you have good-quality headphones. Although there are good options at a reasonable price, in this list you will only find headphones that really offer you an unforgettable experience.

As you’ll see, below we’ve listed the items you’ll want to keep in mind before making a purchase. These are products that are not affordable for all budgets, so you’ll want to make sure that the device you purchase fits your needs.

Sony WH-1000XM4

They may be virtually identical to the previous generation, and the sound quality may also be the same, but that hasn’t stopped Sony from surprising us again with the new WH-1000XM4s.

Somehow, the company has managed to make their noise cancellation even better, and they now have a unique artificial intelligence technology that is very useful. This includes adaptive sound control, DSEE Extreme and Speak to Chat.

It’s hard to find any buts for these headphones, as it’s a no-brainer to say that they’re the best of this 2020. True, however, if you already have last year’s WH-1000XM3 (cheaper), you don’t need to buy these.

Sony WF-1000XM4

Sony has done it again with its latest flagship earbuds: the Sony WF-1000XM4. They offer incredible audio quality, noise cancellation, and smart features.

You’ll recognize them from the WH model, also included in this list. But they also have long-lasting battery life, making them among the best in the industry today.

There are few buts that can be said about these earbuds. If we had to say something negative it would be that they are still a bit larger than their rivals.
Cambridge Audio Melomania Touch

They may not have noise cancellation, but there is no doubt that the Melomania Touch are excellent wireless earbuds.

Provided you don’t need ANC, they offer excellent sound quality and a comfortable design with interchangeable fins.

What stands out the most is an unbeatable battery life, as they can achieve 50 hours of use in power-saving mode. At full power, they can last about 44 hours.

NuraLoop

Almost magically, the NuraLoop headphones manage to condense the audio we already got with the company’s first product and offer an in-ear alternative that is hard to beat in terms of comfort and sound quality.
It is not easy to beat its excellent sound quality and battery life. The best thing is its price. Of course, it seems to us to be honest to clarify that it is not compatible with any type of virtual assistant (something that some will find essential) and also has components that will cost you quite a lot of money to replace.

Bose QuietComfort 35 II

Bose has been slow to update the QuietComfort 35 II. Five years later, the QuietComfort 45 still lives up to its name.

With cloud-shaped ear cushions and a lightweight design, they’re the best choice for long listening sessions, whether simply while working or on a long-haul flight.

Noise cancellation performance is top-notch, as you’d expect from Bose, and battery life is solid, and you can use them wired as well.

However, the offering is fairly simple, with only two ANC modes (Quiet and Aware) and without the 11 levels of adjustability that the QC Earbuds have. They also lack smart features such as ear detection.
