Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga
One of the best ThinkPads we’ve seen in years, this X1 Titanium Yoga model combines many of the aspects of Lenovo laptops into a highly portable 13-inch 2-in-1 QHD (2,256 x 1,504-pixel resolution) 2-in-1 laptop.
But despite the compact size, this Yoga packs a lot of power, with the entry-level model offering an Intel i5-1130G7 quad-core 11th generation processor that can be upgraded to more powerful options if needed. The base 8GB of RAM and 256GB PCIe solid-state drive can also be swapped out.
Since Yoga models are designed to be used on the go, it’s nice to see that this model includes a Lenovo Precision Pen while still offering more traditional business laptop features, such as a fingerprint reader for added security.
This new model supports Wifi 6, so you don’t have to worry about keeping up with wireless speeds. Finally, the ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga also offers a more affordable price point than many of the models on our list, a good option for buyers who want a Lenovo laptop, but don’t like the idea of spending thousands of dollars.
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5
The Flex 5 is a compact 14-inch FHD resolution laptop that starts at affordable prices and offers upgrades that keep it within the price range.
The IdeaPad Flex 5’s 2-in-1 design makes it easy to take anywhere, a smart choice for school, small business work, and similar tasks. Inside, the base model starts with an AMD Ryzen 3 5300U processor (upgradeable via Ryzen 7), 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB PCIe SSD.
The integrated fingerprint reader helps with security, while the integrated webcam shutter offers privacy protection between video conferences. Connections include USB-A 3.2 and USB-C 3.2, as well as HDMI 1.4b, plus Wifi 6 support for wireless networking.
Lenovo ThinkBook 13
Those who don’t mind compromising a bit for a lower price on a traditional laptop will enjoy this ThinkBook’s approach. It’s essentially a lower-cost version of the ThinkPad made with the same durability in mind.
It’s also updated with modern specs, making it an excellent choice for high school or college. The base model starts with an 11th-generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB PCIe SSD.
We also found that battery life was impressive on this ThinkBook 13s Gen 2, and security features like the easy fingerprint reader added a lot of value.
As if Wifi 6 support wasn’t enough, the laptop also comes with connectivity options like Thunderbolt 4/USB-C with USB4 and HDMI 2.0 support. Note that the integrated Intel Xe graphics, while sufficient, are not designed for gaming or 3D work.
