Best laptops for business

There are countless configurations of notebook computers that are very valid for the business and enterprise world. However, needs may vary depending on the mobility, performance, power or versatility of convertible computers.

In larger companies, the choice of one model or another may depend on each department and the work activity to be performed by each worker. The same configuration will not be necessary for those working in a marketing department versus those working in human resources.

Best business laptops of 2022

With such a wide offer of different laptops, we have prepared this article with the ranking of the best ones.

1. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon

The success of Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 range is no coincidence, and in particular, the Carbon series has won countless awards and accolades from professionals and specialized media who use it for their day-to-day work.

With your purchase, you get an excellent combination of top-notch build quality that is extremely lightweight, with excellent ergonomics and powerful specifications. It’s a future-proof laptop that will stand the test of time.

Our main advice is to avoid buying the model with a 4K screen, unless it is essential for your work, as it is an element that directly affects the battery life.

You can also opt for the model with Core i5 processor to save some money, despite which, the laptop will still offer enough potential to cope with most everyday tasks.

2. Dell XPS 17 9700

The Dell XPS range has been one of the most prominent and impressive laptop brands over the last decade, and the Dell XPS 17 9700 is an extra-large screen for a laptop that aims to continue that tradition.

The keyboard combines excellent typing with an atypical layout in that it lacks a numeric keypad (there will be people who prefer it that way), and there are excellent features along with notable omissions. It’s also expensive considering the components on offer here.

It is clear that the XPS 17 is not a laptop for everyone and is intended for professional use. If you want more features or a lower price, you can satisfy those cravings in other alternatives.

You’ll find on the manufacturer’s website four different configurations with a variety of customization options for RAM, storage or even screen type.

Its screen is surprisingly large enough to work comfortably, to which must be added an exceptional battery and enough power to handle most workloads. It’s another one of our recommended devices for telecommuting.

3. HP Envy 13

The HP Envy 13 remains an excellent choice when it comes to getting a business laptop with good value for money.

HP has created a truly impressive all-rounder at a knock-down price. With a wide range of configurations to choose from, for under £1000 you get a sleek design with a good selection of ports, including SD card reader.

The screen is good, the bezels have been reduced considerably and the 10th generation Intel chips offer plenty of power. However, the highlight is the Nvidia MX350 graphics card, which is unusual at this price point. There will be little not to like about the Envy 13.
